Blood Flow Restriction Training

To gain muscle size and strength, one must perform exercises at a moderate to high load and intensity. Unfortunately, this might be difficult for the elderly or those recovering from an injury. This intervention allows one to obtain these gains using a lower load and intensity by using a tourniquet and occlusion technique to the working limb.
